June 25 - 26, 2019 - 5 people with the Spiritual Care Team -Mercy, Atrium Health had an overnight retreat. Loree provided lunches and dinner for the 2 day retreat. They also experienced a restorative yoga class. This is what they said about the retreat -

June 19, 2019 - we talked about Breath We focused on the importance of breath and that it is a vital force that is within our control and effects all other vital forces, ie heart rate, pH balance, muscle tension, etc.

May 29, 2019 - we talked about Move the purpose is to come to a greater realization that when there is no movement there is no life.

April 17, 2019 - we talked about think the purpose is to come to a deeper understanding about how we create our world with our thoughts

March 26, 2019 - we talked about Eat...the purpose is to contemplate how we become what we consume

March 6, 2019 - This is the start of our training with the residents of Atrium HealthCare. We will meet every 3 weeks, ending on September 11, 2019. Today we had a bit of conversation about the Wholeness Wheel. We also reviewed the outline for expectations as well as the didatic goals and objectivies created for the residents. We reviewed the importance of the rituals pre-and post-sleep and reflected on her preconceptions past experiences about sleep.  The importance of sleep with was emphasized.  

Hopefully 10 minutes of meditation will be utilized in the morning with the possible journaling after to emphasize the new thought process and reinforced neurocognitive change.

July 24, 2018 - 15 CMC – Northeast Spiritual Care & Education interns retreated at the ranch. Light breakfast and organic lunch was provided by Loree Long.

March 1, 2018 - We were pleased to be asked to present at The Sixth Annual Tony A Biles Clergy Convocation Sponsored by the CHS-NorthEast Spiritual Care Department, Faith Community Health Ministry and NorthEast Foundation. Our Founder, Jill Hendra D.O., presented to 125 local clergy and medical providers. She used our Delta Wellness Wheel as a model for her presentation.

January 10, 2018 - Delta provided a "Care for the Caregivers" luncheon for the CPE Chaplain group of CMC-North East  in Concord. Our Director of Development, Loree Long prepared a Vietnamese Noodle Bowl lunch. Followed by a 20 minute yoga nidra metatation. Our founder, Jill Hendra presented the "Delta Wellness Wheel" and gave the staff the book "Beyond The Relaxation Response" by Herb Benson.

September 22, 23, 2017 - 10 Women retreated at the ranch for a womens spiritual and empowerment retreat. Loree provided dinner Friday night and breakfast and lunch on Saturday.

September 14, 2017 - CMC Northeast Spiritual Care & Education interns retreated at the ranch. Light breakfast and organic lunch was provided by Loree Long.

May 2, 2017 - CMC – Northeast Spiritual Care & Education interns retreated at the ranch. Light breakfast and organic lunch was provided by Loree Long.

September 16 – 17, 2016 – eleven people from the NCNG Integrated Behavioral Health System retreated at the ranch for their second team building/training event. They enjoyed organic meals, massages by Theresa Kinney & an afternoon/evening by the pool/hot tub. *Comments

*I wanted to thank you so much for letting us come out to your ranch.  It was so nice and peaceful and I really enjoyed that peace and quiet.  You really went out of your way to make us comfortable and I wanted to let you know that it was appreciated. I hope you are doing well.

*Delta Ranch was exceptional in the high quality of attentiveness and care that was put forth by Loree Long, while providing space to rest, relax and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.  While at Delta Ranch our team was able to enjoy the upstairs accommodations for team building, the nearby lake to fish, chatting and sunbathing at the pool, a screened in patio to eat delicious fajitas and drink adult beverages after a chair massage, and then the day was capped off with soaking in the hot tub under a starry sky.  Blissful!

*Thank you so much for providing a peaceful, serene, beautiful and relaxing getaway place!  The ranch is absolutely gorgeous, your hospitality was warm and welcoming and the meal you prepared was outstanding!

May 22, 2016 - In continuing with our "care for the caregivers" Delta provided an “encouragement”, mid afternoon snack for 20 staff members during a computer outage at CHS Behavioral Health Hospital. Our thanks and appreciation for all that healthcare workers do!

May 18, 2016 - The leadership committee of Saint Luke Missionary Baptist Church had a team building day here at the ranch. They provided their own facilitator. Loree Long provided a light breakfast and organic lunch for the group.
May 5, 2016 - we provided a "Care for the Caregivers" luncheon for the 'Lavender Friday' group of CMC-North East  in Concord. Our Director of Development, Loree Long prepared a Vietnamese Noodle Bowl lunch.and a big thanks to the Theresa Kinney who provided chair massage.  Our founder, Jill Hendra talked about relaxation techniques and gave the staff the book "The Relaxation Response" by Herb Benson. We started the group out with a 10 Metta Meditation.

December 10, 2015 - We are once again honored the CPE student Chaplains from CMC Northeast held their year end retreat at the ranch.  Loree provided lunch for the group, spinach & arugula salad with toasted pecans, feta, cranberries and a maple vinaigrette dressing and sweet potato hash with back beans and corn. Here's what they thought about the day!

November 14, 2015 - Wing Women Spa Day! What a great day we had! Chef Gillian brought homemade crock pot, pumpkin spiced lattes to get the day going. Col Jill then spoke about the benefits of meditation and then the group practiced yoga nidra before lunch. Next it was on to meal prep! Chef Gillian expertly lead the cooking class for the day. She set up cooking stations and put the women to work!. The women feasted on Chicken Picatta, rice pilaf a wonderful arugula salad with fresh made dressing and apple turnover dumplings for dessert. What a great meal! Chef also provided take away menus for easy holiday meals. Thanks so much Chef! It was a great weather day so we dined outside by the pool. Once again Theresa Kinney provided great massages for the group! Thanks so much Theresa!

September 13, 2015 - Jill Hendra presented the Delta Wheel to the ANG Joint Forces Headquarters. Loree Long coordinated with Whole Foods and brought in a healthy, organic lunch for the group. This consisted of Salmon, chicken, herb roasted butternut squash, black bean and corn quinoa, super food kale salad and fruit. Here are comments from the group. "Ma'am, I just wanted to thank you and let you know how much the staff appreciated what you provided yesterday, the fact that everybody was busily taking notes is visual evidence they were interested and got something out of it.  Also, I have been receiving emails and comments this morning about how beneficial your information was.

The food  provided was absolutely wonderful and the staff enjoyed it (everyone one had a plate) and, you introduced all of us to some new foods!

Thank you very much Ma'am, we appreciate having you on the staff and all of your contributions."

August 15, 2015 - The "Wing Women" had their monthly retreat at the ranch. This time they had craft day and made stepping stones. An organic lunch was served poolside by Loree Long.

July 31, 2015 - The CPE student Chaplains from CMC Northeast held a writing retreat at the Ranch. Theresa Kinney provided chair massage and Loree provided lunch. Several of the group enjoyed the pool after the retreat

July 18 - 24, 2015 - DHF was the host "Wellness Camper" for the ANG 145th Medical Group at Ft. Fisher. Jill Hendra gave a presentation to the group using the Delta Wheel.

August 28 & 29, 2010 - The women of the 145th Charlotte Air National Guard retreated at the Delta Ranch. The retreat was facilitated by Stephanie W. Nissen, NCC, LMHC, LPC, State Behavioral Health Programs Director, NC National Guard. Two days of leadership training ended with chair massage and Auricular Acupuncture. Another retreat will be held in the spring of 2011. Thanks to Stephanie and the all the women of the Air National Guard for all the work you do!

November 14, 2009 - The 145th Medical Group, Executive Medical Council of the Charlotte Air National Guard, retreated at the Delta Ranch. The outcome was building group cohesion, learning about individual strengths and creating an action plan for 2010. Please enjoy pictures from the Delta Experience and know that the group received Auricular Acupuncture, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), an organic brunch prepard by Loree Long and other healthy snacks in a healing atmosphere.
